After the completion of 2D product drawing on automobile wiring harness, production process of wire harness has to be arranged; processing serves for production, and the two are inseparable, therefore, the author will combine the production and processing of automobile wiring harness together and analyze.

The first station of wiring harness production is wire setting, of which the accuracy is related to the entire production schedule; once there's a mistake, especially if the size of wire setting is relatively short, it will cause the previous work repetition of all the stations, time-consuming, strenuous and will influence the production efficiency. Therefore, working out wire setting processing must be in accordance with drawing requirements and reasonably determine the setting and stripping sizes of wires.
